Ah, that wonderful inconvenience of ‘stretching’…..you, know – that thing you should be doing DAILY…even if you don’t workout? And if you do workout–it’s that thing you should be doing before workout (most of you do this) AND AFTER workout (this one is used much less).
In order to lengthen your muscles & allow your regular daily activities to be easier, you must encoroporate a regular stretching program into your routine!
You can stretch anywhere:
While at work, waiting for the file to upload – jump up and do some simple stretches.
On a road trip and feeling tired? Pull over for a 3-5 minute stretching routine and you’ll feel much more refreshed!
…Or, just watching TV at home– while sitting on the couch, consider stretching throughout your shows.
It does not have to involve a huge time commitment, but stretching can end up giving you huge results! Here are just a few of the benefits you can expect from a regular stretching program:
- Reduced muscle tension
- Increased range of movement in the joints
- Enhanced muscular coordination
- Increased circulation of the blood to various parts of the body
- Increased energy levels (resulting from increased circulation)
